Ghana Wetlands Sustainability Conference.

GWSC 2026, themed “Wetlands and Traditional Knowledge: Celebrating Cultural Heritage”, offers a strategic moment to encourage national dialogue toward updating the wetlands plan. It provides space for traditional custodians, youth groups, policymakers, and researchers to collectively emphasize the importance of indigenous knowledge and cultural heritage in wetland protection. The conference will help establish renewed conservation priorities, build stronger partnerships, and promote shared responsibility for protecting wetlands across Ghana.
